| | "Australia will need 75,000 extra scientists in the next six years to build biotechnology and nanotechnology businesses and other knowledge-based industries if the country's international competitiveness is to be maintained, according to a recent estimate."
from the Sydney Morning Herald
Seeing this make the news in 2004 really gives me the shits.... It's been happening for a long time.
Fucking Stupid.
Been informed (thanks Aaron) that a 'Yoshi-Noya' has opened up on Oxford St next to Footlocker. For those that don't know what/who is 'Yoshi-Noya'. It's a fast food-esque place that sells cheap ass Japanese don-type meals. There are a tonne of them in Singapore and quite a few in Tokyo...good when you're broke...I wonder what the pricing and quality of the meals will be here....
