| | I had 1/4 of the worst lunch ever. I'm usually someone with a very open mind when it comes to eating food and I'll try anything once (almost) and if I have some sort of adverse reaction to it. I'll stop eating it. So...this 'thing' looked ok. It resembled a nice chicken,lettuce, cheese, tomato sandwich. I took a bite and it was just..I don't know...not really working. The whole sandwich didn't really work harmoniously and I'm not sure why. They are indeed basic ingredients and I haven't gone out on a limb with any extra condiments. So.
My conclusion thus far.
Where I work = Redfern = complete and utter ghetto.
The other day I decided to get a smoked salmon,rocket, caper, cream cheese sandwich on brown bread. The sandwich was toasted and the thickness ended up being thinner than my desk diary. This sandwich cost me $8.
So.... I'm currently quietly fuming over exuberant prices they charge for marginally decent food here.
I'm going to go and eat some tomato now.
